This term our classroom theme is "Ocean and Beach Adventures." This theme will be linked into students learning throughout the term. If your family has anything interesting to contribute to our ocean and beach learning please come and see me.

Crunch and Sip
Everyday all children will be given the chance to have Crunch and Sip. This is a time for children to refuel their brains and bodies for learning. Please make sure your child brings a bottle of water every day (they can place these in the drink bottle boxes inside the classroom) and a healthy snack to much on. Crunch and sip is an extra eating time as well as recess and lunch. Please see some Crunch and Sip ideas above.

I would like to introduce myself. I am Fiona Blakie (Miss Blakie) your child's classroom teacher. I am passionate about Early Childhood Education and my teaching philosophy incorporates both an explicit instruction and play based approach to learning. I have been teaching for four years and have experience teaching children from Kindergarten to Year Three. I am extremely excited to meet all your children and assist them in their learning journey in Year One.
